The agent of Malaga striker Sandro Ramirez has held talks with Atletico Madrid over a summer transfer, according to reports in Spain.
Both Marca and AS report on Gines Carvajal – the forward’s agent – visit to the Vicente Calderon on Monday morning to hold talks over a transfer.
Atletico are yet to find out if their FIFA transfer ban will be lifted this summer following an appeal but according to sources of both media outlets, the club are confident they will be successful.
Diego Simeone has held extensive talks with club CEO Miguel Angel Gil and sporting director Andrea Berta regarding strengthening the squad for next season.
Earlier this month, Estadio Deportivo reported sources at Sevilla were ‘confident’ on a deal for the former Barcelona forward, who has also reportedly attracted the interest of Everton.
Sandro has netted 16 goals in 31 appearances in his debut season at La Rosaleda, while Atleti have already reportedly reached an agreement with Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.
