Sevilla president Jose Castro has categorically rejected a report which stated Jorge Sampaoli would not be on the bench for the final game of the season.
Los Rojiblancos finish their campaign on Saturday at home to already-relegated Osasuna, with a report in Ole suggesting his departure could be confirmed the day beforehand and he would not take charge of the fixture.
"I've heard rumors that our coach will not be there, but of course he will because he is a professional and he has to be at the helm of Sevilla FC until the end of the season,” Castro told Sevilla’s official website.
"If we beat Osasuna it will be our second best season in terms of points achieved in our history.
"We have to value what we have achieved, which is to be in the Champions League for a third straight campaign.
"We must enjoy this moment and from next Monday think about creating a competitive team that fills us with joy."
Sevilla have secured a top four finish and will be heavy favourites to defeat Osasuna, who have one only once on the road all season.
