Spain Coach Julen Lopetegui has stated Sergio Ramos and Gerard Pique’s ‘relationship is excellent’ amid rumours they had fallen out recently.
The Real Madrid and Barcelona defenders have clashed numerous times over the years, with the latest spat coming in the recent El Clasico where Ramos was dismissed and made a gesture in Pique’s direction.
"I can't control what happens off the pitch, but on the pitch their relationship is excellent," Lopetegui told Rac1.
"We have got a solid, committed and well-connected group. It's a healthy and happy team."
After last month’s El Clasico clash, Pique had said the red card Ramos received was completely deserved but the two have since downplayed reports their form together for Spain could be affected.
