Agent: Two clubs want Oblak

Jan Oblak’s agent claims “two clubs are really interested” in the Atletico Madrid goalkeeper, one of whom is “certainly” from England.

Oblak has long been linked with a switch to the Premier League, with Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois and Manchester United’s David de Gea reportedly targets for Real Madrid, while Manchester City may be looking to replace Claudio Bravo.

“His future? It's too soon [to discuss] because there are still League games to play, but it’s true that, like I’ve always said, there’s a lot of interest in the best goalkeeper in the world,” Miha Mlakar told Goal.

“Above all, there are two clubs that are really interested in Oblak for next season.

“One is certainly from the United Kingdom. Italy? Please, is this a serious question? In Italy, only Juventus are at the top level and they have Buffon, who’s now in the Champions League final.

“If you ask me, he can play for a few more years without any problems.”

Nonetheless, the website notes Atleti will immediately refer suitors to the Slovenian’s €100m release clause.
