Sevilla lead the race to sign Malaga’s Sandro Ramirez this summer as reports in Spain suggest they are close to an €8m deal for the forward.
Everton have been closely linked with a move to the former Barcelona forward who is in high demand after an impressive debut campaign at La Rosaleda, but it is understood several clubs are interested.
Estadio Deportivo say sources at Sevilla are ‘confident’ and have ‘a trick up their sleeve’ with regards to the move, which could be completed at the end of the campaign.
The Europa League holders reportedly reached a pre-agreement with the 21-year-old’s agent, Ginés Carvajal.
La Opinión de Málaga said on Thursday that Sevilla will play €6m to activate Sandro’s release clause and €2m more ‘to be shared between Sandro and his representative’, to 'reward' them for not negotiating with other clubs.
Atletico Madrid were also reported to be keen on the forward, who has netted 16 goals this campaign.
