Sevilla defender Adil Rami has confirmed he would be interested in a summer move to Olympique Marseille after they made an approach for him.
The 31-year-old has enjoyed two years at Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan and despite having two further years remaining on his deal.
"Yes, there is an interest from Olympique Marseille," Rami is quoted as saying by AS.
"My agents are in charge of that. It's a very interesting project and the club wants to point very high. It is a great challenge.
"The fact that I know the Marseille technical staff would be important, I know the coach and his philosophy. He also knows my character. That is a plus."
Rami played under current Marseille Coach Rudi Garcia for three seasons at Lille and won the Ligue 1 and Coupe de France Double in 2011, before leaving for Valencia in 2011.
