Celta Vigo Coach Eduardo Berizzo has called on his side to ‘be faithful to who we are’ ahead of their clash with Manchester United.
The Galicians tackle the English giants at Estadio Balaidos on Thursday night in the first leg of their Europa League semi final with Celta aiming for a first ever European final.
“How do we beat Manchester United? We must be faithful to who we are,” Berizzo told his pre-match press conference.
“I think the team has a very clear identity – they know who they are and they believe in it.
“They believe in this identity of having possession, pressurising the opposition and recovering the ball quickly to attack again.
“The only way to beat Man United is to be faithful to who are we are and the ideas we have all bought into, especially when facing such a great team.”
