Investigate Ramos, says Fernandez

Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez has called for Sergio Ramos to face an investigation for the way he reacted to his El Clasico dismissal.

The Real Madrid defender was dismissed late on in the encounter for a rash challenge on Lionel Messi and left the pitch gesturing and directing comments at somebody, thought to be Barca defender Gerard Pique.

"Ramos' dismissal was completely fair and if I'm being honest Casemiro shouldn't have still been on the pitch after the first half," Fernandez told Movistar.

"Then Ramos applauded [as he left the pitch]. I suppose the [RFEF's Competition Committee] will take note … it's a very similar situation to Neymar's. I don't know who he was directing the applause at, but they should take note."

Sunday night’s victory at the Bernabeu took the Blaugrana to the top of La Liga on goal difference, but Real Madrid have one game in hand.
