Robert Lewandowski insists he will be available for Bayern Munich’s Champions League trip to Real Madrid.
The Poland international missed the first leg, won 2-1 in Germany by Los Blancos, but AS reports Lewandowski told Bild he’d be ready to travel for the return on April 18.
“I’ll be back in Madrid. The pain is a bit intense still, that’s why I didn’t play in the first leg, but I will be in Madrid,” the striker said.
It’s noted that Carlo Ancelotti has predicted both Lewandowski and defender Mats Hummels will recover from their respective injuries in time for the game at Santiago Bernabeu.
