‘Leicester prepared for Atletico’

Leicester City manager Craig Shakespeare wants his side switched-on against Atletico Madrid and believes they will be.

The Premier League champions go to Vicente Calderon in the first leg of the Champions League Quarter-Final tie and Shakespeare told reporters he has stressed the importance of keeping calm to his players.

“We are generally a well-disciplined team. The players will be reminded about their responsibilities and to make sure we don’t get any stupid cards, and by that I mean for things like encroaching,” he said, the Guardian reports.

“It is something we will talk about with the players. Game-management is important, and never more so than in Europe. You have to be prepared for the what-ifs and we will be ready for that.”
