‘BBC like games like Bayern-Madrid’

Zinedine Zidane doesn’t expect Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema to be afraid of Bayern Munich. ‘These are the games they like.’

Los Blancos are in Germany for the first leg of their Quarter-Final against the team led by Carlo Ancelotti, who was on the Madrid bench in 2014 for the Champions League success, with Bayern dispatched 4-0 in the first leg of the final four.

“I think this team is better than 2014, but we have to prove it on the pitch. Madrid have had very good teams. There isn’t much difference. Everyone can have their opinion, but I think I have the best squad. Then we have to prove it,” Zidane said at a Press conference, AS reports.

“I’m not scared of anything. We have to play our game. I care more about what we are going to do. We respect all our opponents. They are a very good opponent and they’re doing well, but in the end I’m interested in what we are going to do.

“The BBC? They’re experienced and very good players. They get criticised. The better you are, the more you’re criticised, and they know it. I have three players with personality, lots of personality. They’re not afraid of these games, these are the ones they like.”
