Sporting director Monchi has reportedly already signed a three-year deal with Italian side AS Roma and will ask Sevilla to waive his release clause.
Sky Sport Italia reported on Monday night that a meeting was taking place in London between Monchi and Roma president James Pallotta, with the club looking to permanently replace Walter Sabatini who left in October.
La Repubblica are now reporting that a three-year deal has been completed with the Giallorossi and furthermore, he is willing to ask the Andalucians to waive his €5m release clause which the Italians would have to pay to release him from his contract.
Monchi has spent 17 seasons at Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan but made a request to the club to release him from his contract last summer, before changing his mind and staying with the Europa League winners.
Earlier this season, the former goalkeeper said he would most like to live in Rome or Paris.
