Neymar is hopeful that Barcelona will attempt to sign his Brazilian international teammate Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool.
The 24-year-old Liverpool forward made 16 appearances and scored five goals for Barca’s Catalan rivals Espanyol during a loan spell in the 2011-12 campaign and has prospered at Anfield since joining the club in January 2012, while his international teammate had previously said he 'would fit' Barca.
"I would sign Philippe Coutinho," Neymar told El Mundo Deportivo in an interview.
"He's a player that I see playing at Barca."
The former Santos player was speaking in a wide-ranging interview with the Catalan newspaper, speaking of his confidence in Lionel Messi renewing and sadness that Luis Enrique was departing.
"Messi will renew because he is Barca and Barca is Messi," Neymar said on the Argentine’s new deal.
“Lucho? He helped us a lot throughout these seasons, he made us grow and win many titles.
"I think we can win the treble provided we are concentrated and happy.”
