Sevilla have been dealt a blow ahead of their La Liga trip to Atletico Madrid on Sunday with four first-team squad members picking up injuries.
Nico Pareja, Adil Rami and Joaquin Correa are all reported by the club’s official website to have sustained knocks and may not be able to travel with the squad to the Vicente Calderon, while David Soria is also reported to be absent.
French international Rami has trained with Los Rojiblancos first-team squad but has a knee injury which means he is unlikely to be risked, while Pareja suffered a groin strain in Tuesday night’s loss at Leicester City and Correa has suffered a thigh strain.
In more positive news for Jorge Sampaoli, Danish midfielder Michael Krohn Dehli has rejoined first-team training after sustaining a setback to his long-term knee injury in January – the former Celta Vigo maestro hasn’t been available for action for the last 14 months.
