Zaza wants ‘many years’ at Valencia

Valencia striker Simone Zaza wants to stay at the club ‘for many years to come’ after joining from Juventus in a January loan deal.

The Italian striker, who played for English club West Ham United earlier in the campaign, moved to the Mestalla on loan from the Italian champions for €2m two months ago with a €16m obligation to buy should he trigger a minimum number of league appearances – he is now on ten.

"I'd like to stay here, not just this season, for many years to come,” Zaza is quoted as saying by AS.

"Whatever happens, I want to continue playing here and I think the fans want me to stay.

"All of us want to win but on Saturday we were a bit nervous.

"It's not about luck, I don't believe in that; it's about precision – we created a lot of chances but we need to be putting them away.”

The 25-year-old has scored twice for his new club, including a stunning strike in February’s 2-1 triumph over Real Madrid.
