Madrid target Monaco duo

Monaco duo Kylian Mbappe and Bernardo Silva are both on the radar of Real Madrid after a series of impressive performances this season, say reports in Spain.

Marca report Los Blancos are weighing up moves for the two stars who have helped propel Monaco to the top of Ligue 1 and into the last 16 of the Champions League this season.

Portuguese star Silva joined the French league leaders from Benfica for a fee of €16m in January 2015 while Mbappe has netted 12 times in 25 appearances this season after emerging through the club’s youth system.

The two players have caught the eyes of the Madrid scouts who have frequented the side’s matches this season and the duo have emerged as the hottest property in European football alongside teammates Tiemoue Bakayoko and Thomas Lemar.

The report adds the Champions League winners and current La Liga leaders are particularly keen to get deals done early having missed out on transfer targets Ousmane Dembele and Alexander Isak, who are both now at Borussia Dortmund.
