Eusebio Sacristan is reportedly close to signing a new contract with Real Sociedad that will keep the Coach at the club until 2019.
Eusebio’s current deal expires this summer, but Marca claims talks between the 52-year-old and La Real are at a “very advanced” stage.
“I’m happy about how things are going, but it’s an issue that’s in the hands of my representatives,” he said at a Press conference for Sunday’s visit of Osasuna in La Liga.
“I try to stay 100 percent focused on my daily work and let nothing unsettle me, but I insist I’m happy with how everything’s going.”
The former Barcelona B boss succeeded David Moyes in November 2015, with La Real struggling near the bottom, and guided the side to a ninth-place finish.
He has taken the Basques a step further this season as victory over Osasuna would leave them just a point behind Atletico Madrid in fourth.
