Jorge Sampaoli is already planning for next season at Sevilla despite speculation linking him with a move away from the club, says president Jose Castro.
The Argentine has been strongly linked to replace Luis Enrique at Barcelona at the summer but Castro does not believe he will be leaving the Andalucian club, where he has a contract until June 2018.
"Sampaoli is not at Sevilla just passing by, he talks to us about the future,” Castro told Cadena Cope.
"Sampaoli is very happy here and is already planning for next season."
The president of Los Rojiblancos once again reiterated his desire to retain the services of the club’s much-coveted sporting director Monchi, who has been linked with a number of top European clubs including Italian giants AS Roma.
"Monchi is the best sporting director there is and I'm not going to falter in my wish for him to continue at the club for many more seasons," Castro added.
