Further James injury setback?

Real Madrid’s injury crisis may well get worse before it improves as reports in Spain suggest James Rodriguez has picked up another injury.

Spanish station Radio Caracol reported on Tuesday that the former Monaco and Porto playmaker did not turn up at Real Madrid training again, despite Zinedine Zidane expecting him back at the beginning of the weekend.

After spending a fortnight out-of-action with a calf strain but now the broadcaster state the Colombian has a separate problem in his left calf muscle.

Radio Caracol believe this new setback will rule the 25-year-old out for a further three weeks, although there is yet to be another official confirmation from the club.

Madrid already have a series of players unavailable through injury including Dani Carvajal, Pepe, Marcelo, Luka Modric and Gareth Bale.
