Real Sociedad boss Eusebio Sacristan praised his side’s ‘patience’ in their hard-fought victory over Celta Vigo on Sunday.
Juanmi’s goal in the 72nd minute secured all three points for La Real in a game where both sides made alterations due to the fixture being sandwiched inbetween their Copa Del Rey fixtures.
"It's another step in our development, it's three very good points which confirm how well my team is doing and also these are the sort of games which are a good judge of where we are at the moment," explained Eusebio after the game.
"The win is another step to reinforce everything we have done in the first round of fixtures.
“We needed to have patience in this win as Celta left us no spaces to play which made things difficult and made us work hard.
“Our team had faith in our ability and that we would eventually win the game, which shows maturity and professionalism.”
