Atletico Madrid defender Jose Gimenez warns his side have only done half the job after defeating Eibar 3-0 in their Copa del Rey quarter final first leg.
Goals from Antoine Griezmann, Angel Correa and Kevin Gameiro put Diego Simeone’s side in control of the quarter final, but the Uruguayan defender insists their dangerous opponents are capable of turning the tie on it’s head.
"Obviously it's a clear advantage. But we won't ease up at all. Any side in LaLiga can score three,” explained Gimenez.
“Now we have to rest and then turn our minds to the next game in LaLiga (away to Athletic Bilbao on Sunday), which is really important and against difficult opponents.
“In the first half they defended well but we were always looking for the ball. After the break we knew they would go in search of a goal that would give them a chance in the second leg.
“The game opened up and we got two goals to calm things down. But it's not over; we have to go there and win.
"I know that getting a chance in this team is difficult, but whether it's in defence or midfield I want to make the most of it.”
