Alaves made second Ulloa bid

Alaves have made a second offer for Leicester City striker Leonardo Ulloa, who is considering handing in a transfer request if the club reject the move.

Various media reports across Spain, including Marca and AS, state the Argentine striker – who has played in Spain previously with Castellon and Almeria – is unhappy with only starting one league match all season for the reigning Premier League champions and wants regular first team football.

The 30-year-old netted six crucial goals in the Foxes remarkable title triumph last season but has found himself behind the likes of Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez, Islam Slimani and Ahmed Musa in the pecking order this season.

West Brom, Swansea and Sunderland are all thought to be keen on Ulloa and whilst they can offer more money, the striker is thought to be keen on a move to Spain and Leicester would be more willing to sell him to a club who isn’t their rival.
