Deportivo La Coruna boss Gaizka Garitano insists his side's away form must improve if they are to avoid being dragged into a relegation battle.
The Galicians have collected only three points from their eight away fixtures this season and are yet to win on the road, scoring only seven times and conceding on 17 occasions – the third worst away record in La Liga.
"You can not live alone on what you do at home," Depor boss Garitano explained ahead of his side's trip to take on Espanyol on Friday night.
"We have to start picking up points away from home, and recover from those late blows we suffered at the Bernabeu last month – we must start a good run and some consistency.
"You cannot win if you do not defend well – we conceded three in Madrid and four at Malaga, that must change and we have worked on it."
Depor currently lie 15th in the standings with Espanyol in 9th.
