Martial ‘considering’ Sevilla deal

Anthony Martial’s agent has confessed the Manchester United striker is considering a move to Sevilla in the January transfer window.

Philippe Lamboley told ABC de Sevilla that the Europa League winners hopes of signing the French forward were not out of the question, despite United’s apparent unwillingness to sanction any deal.

"We're studying the Sevilla option very closely," Lamboley told the newspaper.

"Sevilla is a very good club, in a good position in La Liga. They're in the Champions League and have a great coach. That's what I can say."

Any deal does seem unlikely, mainly due to the FA Cup winners seemingly having no intention of letting the 21-year-old leave the club whether it be on loan or a permanent deal and also due to the Andalucians being unlikely to afford his wages.

The former Monaco striker has netted 21 goals in 67 appearances for the Red Devils since his transfer in September 2015.
