Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan is the subject of interest from Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande, according to reports in his native Turkey.
Turkish daily Fanatik state Guangzhou could offer €50m for the 29-year-old who only joined Barca last year from Atletico Madrid and although they are unlikely to land him in the January transfer window, they are confident of a summer deal being finalised.
The Chinese club also made an attempt last summer to sign the Turkish international but they were rebuffed by the Blaugrana, who see him as a key part of their future plans.
Turan has netted ten goals for the Catalans this season – behind only Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez – after making his debut for the club in January after a registration ban on new signings prevented him from playing throughout the first four months of the 2015/16 campaign.
Guangzhou are managed by Luiz Filipe Scolari and include former Atletico striker Jackson Martinez in their squad.
