Sevilla are interested in arranging an ambitious deal which would bring Manchester United forward Anthony Martial to the club, according to reports.
Radio Montecarlo claimed Los Rojiblancos sporting director Monchi had already made direct contact with the French striker’s agent regarding a possible loan deal.
The Europa League winners have been linked with a host of forwards to bolster their attacking line with Luciano Vietto and Wissam Ben Yedder the only two senior strikers within their squad, with Real Madrid striker Mariano Diaz also linked to a possible loan move.
Any deal for Martial would be riddled with complications, most prominent of all being United’s strong desire to maintain the 21-year-old along with his reported wages of €3.5m net a season being out of the club’s budget.
The former Monaco striker would also not be available for the Andalucian side’s Champions League fixtures having already appeared for United in this season’s Europa League.
