Ryan Babel’s transfer from Deportivo La Coruna to Besiktas is seemingly imminent after the forward was pictured at the Turkish giants’ stadium.
According to DHA, Babel has agreed a contract with Besiktas until the end of the season, worth €850,000 – eight times more than the €110,000 he earned in three-and-a-half months with Depor.
There is also the option of a two-and-a-half-year extension with the Turkish giants if he impresses, which would pocket him €1.75m a season.
The Dutchman was seen in the stands of Besiktas’ stadium for their game against Gaziantepspor on Saturday, greeted by former Barcelona man Adriano.
Babel announced on Thursday that he would be leaving Depor once his contract expired on December 31 after four goals in 11 appearances for the Galicians.
