Juve plot ‘a Higuain’ Kroos deal

Juventus are planning an ambitious deal to bring Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos to Turin next summer, according to reports in Spain.

The Old Lady are reportedly keen on the deep-lying German midfielder who they view as the ideal long-term replacement for Andrea Pirlo, who left the club for New York City in 2015.

It follows a series of reports that Juve wish to raid the Bernabeu for players having been long-linked to playmaker Isco and are also reportedly lining-up a big offer for James Rodriguez (http://www.football-espana.net/62203/juve-plan-james-swoop).

The Italian champions are continuing to revamp their squad with Rodrigo Bentancur arriving from Boca Juniors in the summer and a move for the out-of-contract Axel Witsel expected too, but Kroos is their big objective, say AS.

The former Bayern Munich midfielder recently extended his contract in the Spanish capital until 2022 with a reported €300m release clause, although Juve believe a deal in the region of €90m could be struck.
