Mina: Valencia lack balls!

Valencia striker Santi Mina accepts “if we don’t have balls, we’re going to hell” after Saturday’s 3-2 defeat to Real Sociedad in La Liga.

Valencia extended their winless run in the League to seven games at Anoeta, leaving them level on points with 18th-placed Sporting Gijon, who have a game in hand and can leapfrog Los Che with victory over Espanyol.

“If we don’t have balls, we’re going to hell,” the former Celta Vigo starlet said after the game.

“The squad is united, but there’s been many words and so much talk, we have to go out there and give up our lives. We will in the Copa.

“We don’t deserve this, but above all the ones who don’t deserve it are the fans.

“Prandelli’s criticism? The Coach has all the reasons in the world, now we must turn things around.

“We’re in a dangerous part [of the table] and the Valencia fans don’t deserve this.”
