Monaco striker Radamel Falcao has revealed Colombian international teammate James Rodriguez is not happy with being out of the starting eleven at Real Madrid.
The 30-year-old – who spent two seasons with Real’s city rivals Atletico – believes it is ‘normal’ for players to be unhappy at lack of game time in what appears to be a hint that James may look for opportunities outside of the Bernabeu.
"When you do not play, you are not happy,” Falcao told El Partidazo radio show.
"That is normal. It happens to all players – it has happened to me."
James was teammates with Falcao at both FC Porto and Monaco, has made 91 appearances for Madrid since his 2014 move from the French club, scoring 27 times.
