AC Milan want Madrid duo – reports

AC Milan are reportedly prioritising the signings of Real Madrid midfield duo Isco and Mateo Kovacic as they ponder a squad overhaul.

Corriere dello Sport have published a list of targets drawn up by the Rossoneri which has the Madrid pair at the top, although the report admits that a move to lure one or both of the midfielders to San Siro will be a tough task.

The Croatian Kovacic spent two-and-a-half seasons at AC's city rivals Inter before joining Los Blancos last summer in a deal worth €29m, with the 22-year-old making 50 appearances for Zinedine Zidane's side since.

Isco's future at the Bernabeu has long been a subject of much-debate and he has previously been linked with a return to Malaga, along with potential moves to Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, while earlier this month it was reported that whilst new contract discussions with Madrid had opened up, he was in no rush to sign on due to his perceived lack of game time.
