The prosecution in the Neymar case has reportedly demanded the player and Barcelona to be prosecuted for corruption and fraud crimes.
According to Marca, the prosecutor has also requested punishments for Neymar’s father, former Barca President Sandro Rosell and Santos, stemming from DIS’ complaint that they were short-changed from the forward’s transfer to Camp Nou.
Nacional Court judge Jose de la Mata initially cleared the five parties of any wrong doing, but the court’s Criminal Division revoked the magistrate’s ruling and forced him to reopen the case.
Consequently, De la Mata asked those accused to submit their charge sheets for the purposes of opening a trial.
