Bayern Munich midfielder Javi Martinez has described Atletico Madrid as arguably the toughest side to play against in Europe.
In a repeat of last year's semi-final, Bayern will take on Atletico at the Calderon on Wednesday evening in a highly-anticipated group stage clash and Martinez believes it will be another fascinating encounter.
"We always play games to win and yes, we would take a point tomorrow at this stadium because it is a very tough match but we will play to win," the former Athletic Club Bilbao midfielder said ahead of the game.
"You could see in last season's semi final the ability and strength of both teams so it will be an important clash, but even if we draw that is a fine result in terms of the group.
"We are not favourites because we are away against one of the best teams in Europe who have many qualities – Griezmann is very dangerous but the team as a whole is really, really strong.
"We are ready because we have done a lot of preparation, but I'm excited for the game."
