Garitano: Alaves spirits high

Deportivo boss Gaizka Garitano admitted it will be difficult facing an Alaves side in 'high spirits' following their victory at Camp Nou.

The newly promoted Basque club have made an unbeaten start to the campaign, topped by last week's victory over Barcelona, and Garitano admitted that it will be another difficult encounter for his Deportivo side.

"Alaves have signed well play, have a strong team structure and are in good spirits," explained the 41-year-old.

"We're eager to get the three points against a team with high spirits and I believe we will have a good game there."

Deportivo will be without a number of players through injury including striker Joselu and defensive duo Sidnei and Fernando Navarro.

"Our idea is not to miss those who are unavailable but to appreciate those playing," continued Garitano.

"The group is great. We can either complain or go out and try to win with what we have, and I believe we can do that."
