Real Madrid will reportedly open talks with Toni Kroos over a new contract next week.
According to Marca, Madrid will offer Kroos a longer and more lucrative contract once he informs them of his desire to enter talks in person.
That confirmation is expected to arrive in the next few days, the midfielder having rejected Manchester City’s “blank cheque” in the summer.
The German’s current deal expires in 2020, but he is likely to prolong his stay at the Santiago Bernabeu by two or three years, plus become one of the club’s highest earners.
