Martin Montoya has reportedly left Barcelona’s preseason camp to complete a free transfer to Valencia.
According to Marca, Barca have agreed to terminate Montoya’s contract, with the right-back now travelling to Valencia instead of Dublin, where La Blaugrana will face Celtic in a friendly on Saturday.
The 25-year-old, who was loaned to Inter and Real Betis last season, will then undergo a medical before putting to paper.
Despite joining Barca’s squad in the British Isles, Montoya trained separately from the first team at the request of Coach Luis Enrique.
Valencia are in the market for a right-back to supplement Joao Cancelo after losing Antonio Barragan to Middlesbrough.
