It is reported that Turkish side Besiktas are eyeing a loan move for Barcelona’s Arda Turan.
The attacking midfielder only arrived at Camp Nou from Atletico Madrid last summer and did not make his Azulgrana debut until January, owing to the club’s then-ongoing transfer embargo.
However, with stiff competition for places in Luis Enrique’s midfield and with Barca having recently signed Andre Gomes, it appears Turan’s first team opportunities in Catalonia would be limited should he remain at his current club.
According to various media outlets, this has prompted the Turkish champions to register their interest.
Should they be successful in luring the 29-year-old back to his homeland, Turan would become the second Barcelona player to swap Catalonia for Istanbul this summer, with full-back Adriano having already made the switch.
