Jonathas out, Llorente in at Real?

Jonathas is reportedly "hours away" from Rubin Kazan as Real Sociedad look to replace the striker with Sevilla's Fernando Llorente.

According to Marca, negotiations between La Real and Rubin are "very advanced" and nearing closure, Jonathas' absence in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Villarreal seen as a clear indication that his future lies in Russia.

Rubin boss Javi Gracia, formerly of Malaga, is also said to be keen on having the Brazilian at his disposal for the start of the new Russian Premier League season next week.

As such, the Basques have been tipped to replace Jonathas with Llorente, who is considered "one of the most viable options" to lead the club's frontline in 2016-17.

The former Athletic Bilbao man failed to displace Kevin Gameiro in Sevilla's attack upon his arrival from Juventus last term, scoring just seven goals in 31 appearances.
