Betis keen on Serie A pair?

Real Betis are reportedly keen on signing Juventus midfielder Mario Lemina and Empoli playmaker Riccardo Saponara.

According to AS, Betis are a “priority” for Lemina, whom they have “seduced”, but they face competition from RB Leipzig, who have offered €17m for the player.

Furthermore, the Andalusians are only willing to negotiate a season-long loan for the Gabon international, although his desire is to play in a “stronger League” than the Bundesliga.

Betis are also in the market for a No 10, and La Nazione claims their search has taken them to Saponara.

The 24-year-old scored five goals and assisted a further 10 in Serie A last season, but Betis will have to convince Empoli into lowering their valuation of the former Milan starlet.

AS adds Wolfsburg’s Bas Dost heads Betis’ list of striker targets, yet while the Dutchman is interested in making the move, Los Verdiblancos must once again seek a more-suitable fee.
