Claudio Ranieri admits Leicester City are powerless over N’Golo Kante as the Real Madrid target’s fate rests “in his hands”.
Zinedine Zidane has reportedly requested the signing of Kante as he considers the holding role more of a priority than a world-record swoop for Paul Pogba, and Leicester have responded to the speculation by offering the midfielder a new contract.
“[Kante’s future is] in his hands,” Ranieri told BBC Sport.
“We offered Kante a new deal before the Euros. Now I know there are a lot of big teams interested.”
