Report: Madrid cooling on Pogba

A report in Spain claims Real Madrid are going cold on Juventus’ Paul Pogba because of his price tag and disappointing Euro 2016.

Marca say Zinedine Zidane remains a fan of the France international but only wants signings that fit into the team ethic and while he believes Pogba could adapt, he doesn’t want the move made for the sake of it.

A fee of €120m has been suggested for Pogba, with Manchester United also keen and Juve wanting to tie down the midfielder as well, but Madrid are said to be having second thoughts on the value of the transfer.

Pogba is felt to have surreptitiously indicated he wants Madrid but Madrid haven’t yet pushed for Pogba, who is on holiday in Los Angeles but is in regular contact with agent and confidant Mino Raiola.
