It’s claimed in Italy that Juventus have contacted Barcelona to ask about the availability of Turkey captain Arda Turan.
Mundo Deportivo cites Calciomercatoweb as saying the Serie A champions have broached the subject with their Primera counterparts and despite taking Miralem Pjanic from Roma, still want to bolster their midfield.
A fee of €24m is touted for Turan, who moved to Barca a year ago from Atletico Madrid but was unable to debut for the Catalans until January due to the club’s transfer embargo, and who struggled in the six months following his first game.
Arda has however insisted his intention is to remain at Barca, despite the difficulties he faced from January.
