Andre Gomes has refused to comment on speculation linking him with a move away from Valencia as “newspapers seem to know more about my life than I do”.
Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester United and Chelsea are the four clubs reportedly vying to sign Gomes, despite Valencia standing firm on their €60m valuation, but the Portugal midfielder insists he has no knowledge of such interest.
“Newspapers seem to know more about my life than I do,” he said at a Press conference.
“This isn’t the right time to talk about my professional life, before a European Championship semi-final.
“I can’t comment on Nani [possibly joining Valencia] because it doesn’t affect me.
“We haven’t talked about it, although if he joins Valencia then he’d certainly be very well-received.”
