Paul Pogba’s father has claimed that the Juventus midfielder “wants to play in a better League”, amidst links with Real Madrid.
Pogba has reportedly been earmarked as Madrid’s next ‘galactico’, although recent speculation claims the Frenchman’s former club Manchester United have moved to the top of the queue, and Fassou Antoine admits Serie A is not competitive enough for his son.
“[On his son joining Madrid], it’s interesting, yes,” he was quoted as saying by AS.
“What we want is that he plays in a better League. He’ll decide which team he’s going to play for.
Pogba was asked by a young fan on Thursday about whether he would join Madrid, to which the 23-year-old replied: “I don’t know, we’ll see.”
