Paulo Dybala insists “it’s certain that Paul Pogba will stay” at Juventus this summer, disappointing Real Madrid in the process.
Pogba has been heavily linked with Madrid since the appointment of his countryman Zinedine Zidane as their Coach in January, but Dybala – who himself has been linked with Barcelona – is confident his teammate will resist Los Blancos’ overtures.
“I saw [Dani] Alves play many times because I always watch Barcelona’s matches,” the forward told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I remember he had a great affinity with [Lionel] Messi. He’s a very technical player, who will help us a lot in defence and attack, and I hope that he can give me many assists.
“It’s certain that [Pogba] will stay. I talked to him and, for me, he’ll stay with us. We didn’t talk about football, but it’s what I feel.”
