Betis ‘keeper linked with Turkey move

Real Betis goalkeeper Antonio Adan is being lined up for a possible move to Besiktas, according to reports in Turkey.

The 29-year-old has been a regular between the sticks for the Andalusians since joining from Serie A outfit Cagliari in January 2014.

However, Besiktas boss Senol Gunes is looking to strengthen his goalkeeping department ahead of the club’s Champions League campaign next season, having won the Turkish Super Lig last term, and has set his sights on Adan.

The release clause in the former Real Madrid stopper’s contract at the Benito Villamarin is €8m, a figure Besiktas are prepared to match.

Mundo Deportivo maintains Adan has already received a proposal from the Turks and will make a decision on whether to accept it or not shortly.
