Ever Banega has admitted he is “only missing the club statement” ahead of his proposed move to Inter Milan.
The Sevilla midfielder revealed he was leaving the Andalusians after their Europa League success in May and he has now agreed to join the Nerazzurri, although the transfer is yet to be announced by either party.
The 27-year-old former Boca Juniors and Valencia player is currently competing in the Copa America with Argentina, but will finalise the move to Serie A once the tournament ends.
“There is a verbal agreement and we are only missing the club statement. Javier Zanetti was the first to contact me and I’m very happy he called,” Banega told El Desmarque.
