Zinedine Zidane refused to deny reports that Real Madrid were interested in Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba as “everyone wants him”.
Sky Sport Italia reported on Friday that Madrid and Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola had discussed personal terms for the player, who is currently representing France at Euro 2016, and Zidane made it clear he was a fan of the 22-year-old.
“Everyone wants him because he’s very talented, but he belongs to Juventus,” the Coach said at a promotional event in India.
“[Isco] is very young and has his own style. He doesn’t have to copy Zidane’s style. He has a great future because he’s still very young.
“I put a lot of passion into my work and even won the Champions League, but I feel that I still have a lot to do.
“I’ve been the Coach of Madrid for five months, and my immediate goal was to improve Madrid. I only think about the present.”
