Pogba top of Madrid’s list

Paul Pogba is Real Madrid’s priority for the summer and Juventus could be offered Isco in part-exchange, it’s reported.

AS says the France international ‘fits Madrid like a glove’ as he is young but considered one of the world’s greatest players, has a spectacular style and a high media profile. Most important, however, is that Zinedine Zidane has given the go-ahead for his signing.

Juve though don’t want to sell and rejected Barcelona a year ago because they wouldn’t go as far as €100m. Madrid hope to be able to get Pogba for less than that and could exploit the Old Lady’s interest in Isco to do so.

There’s also the chance Juve would be interested in former Inter midfielder Mateo Kovacic, particularly if they’re barred from Andre Gomes by Valencia, and Madrid could offer both players for Pogba.

It’s also noted that Los Blancos intend to follow Pogba closely throughout Euro 2016.
