Atletico Madrid are in the running if Robert Lewandowski leaves Bayern Munich, it’s been claimed.
AS cites a report from TodoMercado that says Los Colchoneros are keen to meet Diego Simeone’s ambitions in the summer market and Poland captain Lewandowski would be the kind of signing to satisfy the Coach.
Real Madrid and both Manchester United and Manchester City are also mentioned as suitors for the Bayern striker, who hasn’t signed a contract renewal in Bavaria.
Edinson Cavani, Carlos Bacca and Diego Costa are touted as options if Lewandowski isn’t available to Atletico, but a return for Costa would depend on Chelsea convincing Juventus to sell Spain forward Alvaro Morata.
